I still haven't completely moved into my new home here. I have been spending most of my time playing with some of Google's new toys. Currently I am using Google Voice and Google Wave. If you have a Google wave account please check out the Google Wave link. There has been some good news for me and some bad news. The good news is that I'm no longer unemployed so I have money. The bad news is that I'm employed so I don't have any time. Luckily I seem to be able to rid myself of that awful money just as quickly as it comes in. My current job has me traveling 180 miles each day so I'm trying to find ways to make more time for myself. One trick I'm planning to use is speech recognition. I'm still trying to publish that book I've always wanted to write. So now it's looks like I may actually be writing it from my car as I travel. The plan (if it works) it to get a headset with a microphone. One of those cheap ones that lets you plug one port into the microphone of the car and the other into the headphone slot. I plan to plug one connector into my computer so I can dictate my book. The other connector will plug into my GPS so I can get directions without the computer putting them into my book. What do you think? Is this even legal to drive like that? Is it safe? Well I not sure just yet. Please check out my blog. I've got some talking to do about Crystal Skull Vodka. I just picked up a bottle tonight for $49.95. I haven't tasted it yet but it certainly is in the most interesting bottle I've ever seen.
